Seafood festival comes ashore in West Wales

Posted: 5th July 2017 By Take Me To Wales

It’s the 20th anniversary of the Cardigan Bay Seafood Festival in Aberaeron.

The best seafood cookery and dishes you will savour will be produced infront of your eyes at the fishing port and ten top chefs will be demonstrating on the quay Sunday 9 July.

They are Stephen Terry, The Hardwick; Will Holland, Coast; Dudley Newbery, Miskin Arms; Bryan Webb, Tyddyn Llan; Gareth Ward, Ynyshir; Hywel Jones, Lucknam Park; Stuart Phillips, The Hundred House; Sue Manson, Y Polyn; Gareth Johns, The Wynnstay and Ludo Dieumegard, Harbourmaster.

Festival organiser Menna Heulyn said, “ Where else in the world can you see such exceptional chefs demonstrating their talents at close hand in such an unique location?

“We are delighted with the line-up of chefs at this year’s event. We really believe that seeing these chefs cook close up can inspire the next generation of Welsh chefs.

They are dedicated and passionate professionals and great role models for budding young talent.

They will be showcasing some great fish and shellfish dishes from catch landed on the Welsh coast.
